January is National Winter Sport TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Awareness Month.

 

Skiing and snowboarding are great ways to keep active in the snow, but make sure you protect yourself from injury! Over a million people sustain a TBI each year.  People who do jumps have a higher rate and it's more common in women.  Protect yourself by:

  • Wearing a helmet
  • Being aware of your surroundings
  • Staying in control

Free Yoga Classes for students.  Employees register through emPower.   Monday at noon, Tuesday at 5:00 in the Sherbine Lounge.
