Lou Ingargiola named Alumnus of the Year by PSWS Alumni Society
Louis Ingargiola ’92 Fin, will be named the Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society’s 2011 Alumnus of the Year at a campus reception in his honor on Wednesday, Feb. 29.
Mr. Ingargiola is president and founder of Ingargiola Wealth Management Group, located in Dunmore, PA.
A past president and long-time member of the Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society, he is a member of the campus’ For the Future – The Campaign for Penn State Students committee, its Alumni Fundraising Committee, and Hammond Society member of the Penn State Smeal College of Business.
Mr. Ingargiola currently hosts “The Wealth Management Hour with Lou Ingargiola and Sean McAndrew” on local radio station 94.3 FM The Talker on Saturday mornings.
A regular contributor to The Scranton Times-Tribune and The Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal, he is also a featured guest on local television and radio, and is a sought-after speaker in northeast Pennsylvania.
Mr. Ingargiola is also a member of The Scranton Chapter of UNICO National, a past consultant for Junior Achievement, and is a lector, extraordinary minister and member of the finance council at St. Anthony’s Church.
He resides in Dunmore with his wife, Colleen and their three children.
