 On those days that present severe weather and driving conditions, a decision may be made to either close the campus or operate on a compressed schedule.

Campus Delays & Cancellations Policy

If the decision is to close for the day, all day and evening classes and all other scheduled activities will be cancelled.  Administrative offices will also be closed.  If it is necessary to close the campus during midday, announcements will be circulated  immediately to faculty and staff and tv and radio stations.

If the decision is to operate on a compressed schedule, classes will start at 10:00a.m. according to the following schedule:

 Regular Period  Compressed
 8:00/8:30 a.m.   10:00-10:45 a.m.
 9:00/9:25 a.m.   10:55-11:40 a.m.
 10:00/10:30/10:50 a.m.  11:50-12:35 p.m
 11:00/11:15 a.m.  12:45- 1:30 p.m.
 1:00 p.m.   1:40- 2:25 p.m.
 2:00/2:25/2:30 p.m.  2:35-3:20 p.m.
 3:00/3:50 p.m.  3:30-4:15 p.m
 4:00/4:30 p.m.  4:25-5:10 p.m.
 5:00/5:15 p.m.  5:20-6:05 p.m

 Snow alerts will be announced around 6:30 a.m. on local radio stations and television channels.  It is important, therefore, to retain a copy of the compressed schedule for future reference.
