If you are thinking about furthering your education, maybe transferring schools or completing a degree you have already started, then Penn State Worthington Scranton might be a good choice for you. We value our transfer students because they bring other perspectives, views and a whole new dimension to our classrooms.
At Penn State, we consider a student as a transfer if they have attempted 18 or more credits at another institution after high school graduation. If you have attended another institution and attempted less than 18 credits, then you would be considered a first year student. In addition to your completed application, all transfer students must submit their official high school transcript and/or GED, and college transcripts from any institution that you have attended. We do not require transfer applicants to submit SAT/ACT scores.
Although we will officially evaluate transcripts for transferable credits when we evaluate your application for admission, you can unofficially evaluate your own transcripts at:
- Transferring Credits Tool
No matter where you are studying our Transferring Credits Tool will help you determine how your course work will transfer to Penn State.
Pennsylvania University/College Transfer Students
- Students currently enrolled at one of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education universities or a Pennsylvania Community College can view a sample of courses that will transfer to Penn State.
