Penn State Worthington Scranton now offers the
MASTERS of
EDUCATION in
TEACHING AND CURRICULUM
This program, offered collaboratively by Penn State Worthington Scranton and Penn State Harrisburg, is designed to enhance the skills of teachers for public and private school instruction.
One of the distinguishing features of graduate studies at Penn State is the emphasis on educational research and practical application of theory into the classroom. Our feeling is that true professionalism includes the ability to understand, interpret and evaluate the relevant literature in one's area of expertise, and use this information to guide practice.-
- May be completed in 3 years - Summer, Fall and Spring Semesters
- Six Core Courses and Electives
- Meets Act 48 requirements
